Qualifier Scoring

Each event will be scored individually based on the leaderboard positions. Each event is worth 200 points.

In events one (1) and two (2), the event winner will receive 200 points, second place 197 points, third place 195 points and so on, with a scoring principle of 194-193-192-...

Event three (3) has been divided into two individually scored sections, each of which both are worth 100 points. In event three, the first place holder gets 100 points, the second 99 points, the third 98, and so on.

The maximum for all three events is 600 points.

Equipment

The required equipment for each event is marked clearly on the scorecards.

In addition to this equipment, you will require a timer that needs to be visible throughout the whole event execution. You will also need a recording device (f.e, a phone) for recording the event executions.

Allowed aids: sports tape, weightlifting belt, gymnastic grips, wrist wraps/supports and knee- and elbow sleeves (Neoprene versions).

Prohibited aids: Wrist wraps that can be wrapped around the bar (any type of bar), resin, any hooks or other gear that can help the athletes hang from a bar.

Always check the event-specific rules, equipment and possible restrictions from the event scorecard before starting the event.

Athlete responsibility and judging

First and foremost, the performing athlete is responsible for understanding the movement standards and doing each movement as instructed by the competition organiser.

The qualifying event needs to be recorded following the instructions on the scorecard. After the recording, the video needs to be uploaded by the athlete to YouTube or a similar video platform. The link to the video needs to be added to the competition system, Reppi.fi, together with the scores. The videos cannot be edited. If an athlete uploads an edited video, the performance will be disqualified.

Videos will be checked with random selection, and a functioning link has to be delivered to the competition organiser within 24 hours of the request at the latest.

Each athlete has to have a judge who has familiarised themselves with the movement standards given by the competition organiser and the event rules.

The judge will monitor the activity, count the approved reps and keep score of them. The contact information of the judge has to be delivered if requested by the competition organiser.
